By accessing or using the services provided by ION Management Science Lab ("IMSL," "we," "us," or "our"), a research initiative of SDA Bocconi School of Management, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services, including the IMSL Labs learning platform, AI tools (Aristotle, Copernicus, Leonardo), and the SDM Survey assessment.

IMSL provides:

• Labs: An AI-powered executive education content library
• AI Tools: Decision-support tools including Aristotle, Copernicus, and Leonardo
• SDM Survey: Scientific Decision-Making organizational assessment
• Research Resources: Access to research papers, case studies, and educational materials

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect user information without consent
• Use automated systems to access our services without permission
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

All content, features, and functionality of our services—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, research materials, and educational content—are owned by IMSL, SDA Bocconi, or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial educational use.

You retain ownership of content you submit (survey responses, feedback, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Use, store, and process your content to provide our services
• Aggregate and anonymize data for research purposes
• Improve and develop our services

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

Certain services may require payment. By purchasing paid services, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees and charges
• Provide accurate billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method

Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy. Organizational licenses are governed by separate enterprise agreements.

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Results or outcomes from using our services

Our AI tools and educational content are designed to support decision-making, not replace professional judgment. You are solely responsible for decisions made using our services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IMSL and SDA Bocconi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from use or inability to use our services
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Third-party conduct on our platform

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IMSL, SDA Bocconi, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit through our services

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use our services will cease immediately
• We may delete your account and associated data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
